No More Fingerprints

Galibier Design - Controller Top Plate (matte finish)While experimenting with faceplate finishes for our NiWatt amplifiers, we arrived at a surface preparation processĀ  that’s more consistent and easier to apply than bead blasting.

We adopted this as the new standard finish – replacing the previous polished look of our turntables.

One of the added benefits is that you won’t see fingerprints, which have a sneaky habit of finding their way onto the controller top plate.

Apart from our platters, all aluminum parts that aren’t painted (i.e. Stelvio custom finishes) will be delivered with this new finish.
